Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Inverse Collective LLC ("Inverse Collective," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our AI phone companion service and caregiver/facility dashboard (the "Service"). The Service is intended for customers in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Profile Data. Name, email, role (family, caregiver, admin), organization, phone numbers for seniors and caregivers, preferences, schedules.
Call Data. Call metadata (time, duration, outcome), call recordings and transcripts (who can read them is described in Section 4), and AI‑generated embeddings/signals for personalization.
Communications. SMS reminders (service‑only), support requests, feedback.
Payment Data. Billing contacts, plan details, and limited payment information via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
Technical Data. Log files, device/browser data, IP addresses and the approximate location (country, region, city) they indicate, cookies, and analytics events via Google Analytics, PostHog, Vercel Speed Insights, and the Meta Pixel, and, with your consent where required, heat maps of where visitors click and how far they scroll on our website via PostHog (it does not record your screen, read what you type, or collect the Ellie chat).
Sensitive Data. The Service is not a medical or HIPAA service and is not intended to collect protected health information (PHI). If you choose to input health‑related notes, we handle them with heightened safeguards; do not upload PHI.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and secure the Service (including scheduling, placing calls, transcribing, and personalization);
- Send service messages (verifications, password resets, billing notices) and SMS reminders;
- Monitor performance, debug, and prevent fraud/abuse;
- Improve and develop features, including using de‑identified/aggregated data and model quality signals;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Advertising Measurement (Meta Pixel). We do not sell personal information for money. Our public website uses the Meta Pixel, which sends Meta information about your visit (such as the pages you view, your IP address and browser details) so we can measure and improve our ads, and Meta may also use it for its own advertising. Under some state laws, such as California's, this counts as “sharing” personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising, and possibly as a “sale.” You can opt out at any time; see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in Section 6. The Pixel is not used inside the ElderVoice app, and we never share call content, transcripts, or information about seniors for advertising.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We share personal information with:
- Processors/Service Providers acting on our behalf, including Twilio (telephony), Deepgram (voice conversations, using OpenAI to generate replies), Amazon Web Services (AI processing through Amazon Bedrock), Cheaper Inference (backup AI processing if Amazon Bedrock fails), Latitude (AI quality monitoring of call transcripts and other AI requests, with phone numbers, email and street addresses, and the names we hold for the senior, their caregiver and contacts removed; other names mentioned in a conversation may remain), Supabase (database hosting and sign-in), Stripe (payments), SendGrid and Resend (email), Google Analytics and PostHog (analytics, website heat maps and error tracking), Tawk.to (live chat support), Cloudflare (delivers our website and app traffic, and tells us the approximate location your IP address indicates when you request a demo call), Vercel (website hosting and page-speed measurement), Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on website forms, which receive your IP address and device data), and Abstract API (checking that an email address entered in a website form is valid), under contracts that limit use to our instructions;
- Advertising Partners: Meta Platforms, through the Meta Pixel on our public website (see Section 2). Meta may use this information under its own terms, not only on our instructions;
- Legal/Compliance recipients where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business Transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not permit service providers to use personal information for their own marketing. Advertising partners are described in Section 2.
4. Data Access & Visibility
Who Can Read Call Content. Full call transcripts and summaries may be viewed by the account that set up the senior (for example, a family member or caregiver); the senior's facility staff, if the facility has turned on transcript access; and ElderVoice support staff at Inverse Collective. Support staff read them to help customers, look into problems or safety concerns, and check and improve the quality of conversations. Short excerpts of what the senior said may also appear in safety alerts and review notifications sent to the people responsible for the senior, including facility staff. Our telephony, voice and AI providers listed in Section 3 process call content, including audio and transcripts, to run the Service. We may also disclose call content where the law requires it.
Call Audio. We do not offer playback of call audio to anyone. Audio used to process a call is deleted from our servers automatically within about 30 hours of the call.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (e.g., accounting, security), then delete or de‑identify it. Call audio is deleted from our servers automatically within about 30 hours of the call. Call transcripts and summaries are kept for as long as needed to provide the Service (for example, so the companion can remember earlier conversations), or longer where law or active disputes require it.
6. Your Choices & Rights
Account Controls. Update account details and settings in the dashboard.
SMS Opt‑Out. Inverse Collective LLC sends SMS for one‑time verification codes (OTP) to verify your identity (one message per request) and for account notifications and service‑related communications. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message; for help, reply HELP. You may also contact us at hello [at] inversecollective.com or by mail at:

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To stop the Meta Pixel from loading on this browser, use the button below. We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as this opt‑out: the Pixel does not load while your browser sends one. The choice is saved in this browser only, so repeat it on other browsers and devices, or email hello [at] eldervoice.com to opt out by request. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the choice.
Privacy Rights (United States). Where applicable under U.S. state privacy laws (e.g., California), you may request access, deletion, or correction. Submit requests to hello [at] eldervoice.com. We will verify your identity before responding.
Privacy Rights (United Kingdom). If you are in the UK, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict how we use it; receive it in a portable format; object to our use of it, including for direct marketing at any time; and not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that significantly affects you. Where we rely on your consent (for example, for advertising and analytics cookies), you can withdraw it at any time. Send requests to hello [at] eldervoice.com; we will verify your identity and respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Privacy Rights (Canada). If you are in Canada, you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal or contractual limits (withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the Service). Send requests to hello [at] eldervoice.com; we will verify your identity and respond within 30 days. You may also challenge our compliance with Canadian privacy law by contacting us first, and then, if you are not satisfied, by complaining to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure; please use strong, unique passwords and keep them confidential.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog, and Vercel Speed Insights), and measuring visits from our ads (the Meta Pixel, which does not load if you opt out in Section 6 or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal). If your browser is set to UK time, or to a time zone that names no country (such as UTC or GMT), Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel stay off on our website until you accept them in the cookie banner; saying no, now or later, also removes the cookies they set. PostHog builds heat maps of where visitors click and how far they scroll on our website; it does not record your screen, read what you type into forms, or collect the Ellie chat. It follows the same rule as Google Analytics (off until you accept if you see the banner) and does not load if you opt out in Section 6 or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If you are in the UK and did not see the banner, email us and we will help. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly without certain cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it.
10. International Users
The Service is available only for families in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. It is not supported in any other country, including Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, even though those islands use +44 phone numbers. Wherever you live, we store and process personal information in the United States, so using the Service from Canada or the United Kingdom transfers your information to and processes it in the U.S.
11. State‑Specific Disclosures (U.S.)
We honor rights provided by applicable state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising (see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in Section 6, which also honors Global Privacy Control signals). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Authorized agent requests will be honored consistent with law.
12. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
For business customers needing a DPA, contact us at hello [at] eldervoice.com. The DPA will describe roles (customer = controller; Inverse Collective = processor), security measures, and subprocessors (Twilio, Deepgram, OpenAI, Amazon Web Services, Cheaper Inference, Latitude, Supabase, Stripe, SendGrid, Resend, Google Analytics, PostHog, Tawk.to, Vercel, Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare (including Turnstile), Abstract API). Meta is not on this list: it receives website visit data through the Meta Pixel for its own advertising (section 3), not on our instructions. We are not a HIPAA‑covered entity and do not offer BAAs unless separately agreed in writing.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes (e.g., by email or in‑product). Your continued use after changes become effective signifies your acceptance.
